Guide to Inclement Weather on Your Ski Vacation

So you have come up Waterville Valley for a vacation full of winter activities, but Mother Nature has other plans… Do not worry! Waterville Valley has plenty of different opportunities to make your vacation still worthwhile.

Food and Beverage:

Start your morning with a relaxing atmosphere and enjoy breakfast in the Town Square at La Tasse Cafe!

For lunch and dinner, there are several spots in the valley to grab food and a drink including Clubhouse Restaurant, La Hacienda, Coyote Grille, Olde Waterville Pizza Co. and Grille, Valley Pub, Valley Chop House and Kalki Indian Cuisine. If you’d prefer not to ski in the rainy conditions, but would still like to make it up to the mountain, the Freestyle Lounge is a great place to enjoy a drink and snacks with friends and family rain or shine! Open 11am-6pm daily through the ski season.

Family Activities:

The White Mountain Athletic Club is the perfect destination for the whole family! With an indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam rooms, cardio and weight rooms, indoor tennis, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The Legends Arcade located in Town Square is a great place to hide from the rain and play countless different arcade classics. Lastly, the Recreation Department is a great place to bring the family on a rainy day. On any given weekend, the Rec. Departments hosts several different activities including Pickleball, Indoor Rock Climbing, Basketball, Guided Snowshoe Hikes, and more!

Treat Yourself:

The Welcome Center and Sport Thoma/1829 Outfitters have all the Waterville Valley apparel you can ask for! The Town Square has the perfect collection of stores to mosey around in and unwind. Buy a new book to read in Bookmonger, or buy some souvenirs in the Dreams and Visions gift shop! Stop in Jugtown Country Store to grab some groceries, beer or wine and any other conveniences you may need for your trip.
