The 13th Annual Ralley in the Valley all vehicle show, presented by the East Coast Camaro Club, is coming back to Waterville Valley! Trophies, Awards, 50/50 raffles, food, music, shopping, fall foliage, and much more! Donations of $20 per show vehicle; proceeds to benefit Tufts Medicine Care at Home (formerly MVH and Home Health Foundation). Registration at gate. Rain or shine. Alongside the car show is our annual Chili Challenge happening from 12pm - 2pm!
Live entertainment will be at the Gazebo stage in Town Square from 12-3pm.

26TH ANNUAL CHILI CHALLENGE
TOWN SQUARE, WATERVILLE VALLEY
Waterville Valley restaurants compete in Town Square for the title of the best chili in the Valley! With your admission fee, you’ll get to sample of every restaurant’s chili and cast your vote to a chili ballot.
FEE: $7.50 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
Along side the chili will be the Annual Ralley in the Valley all vehicle show, presented by the East Coast Camaro Club. Awards, and 50/50 raffle. $20 donation; proceeds to benefit a charity. Registration at gate. Rain or shine.
Live entertainment will be at the Gazebo stage in Town Square from 12-3pm.

Waterville's 3rd Annual Schwendi Fest is taking place on October 12th! This mountain-top extravaganza celebrates the stunning foliage season while looking ahead to ski season! Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride up Tecumseh Express and treat yourself to a Schwendi Hutte BBQ, and drinks. There will be plenty of family-friendly games and activities -water balloon launches, treasure hunts, musical chairs, and more! We'll be firing up the Schwendi Hutte BBQ, grilling burgers, hot dogs, and bratwursts! Hot apple cider (spiked and unspiked), beer, and wine will be available for purchase. If you're staying in the valley, you can hop on the resort trolley and ride it up to the ski resort!
Wear a cozy sweater, sip on some hot apple cider, bring the kids to paint pumpkins, and take in mountainous foliage views, all from 3,600’ elevation. Whether you’re looking to leaf-peep, enjoy quality family time, or simply sit on the Schwendi Hutte deck and crack open a cold one - there’s no better place to spend your long weekend!

Skip the lines and pick up your ticket ahead of time! Stop by the Waterville Valley Resort Welcome Center and pick up your Schwendi Fest tickets! Tickets will be available for pickup Friday (10/3) - Saturday (10/11) at the Welcome Center. Beginning Sunday (10/12), tickets will ONLY be available for pickup at the Ski Resort Ticket Window. Once you pick up your tickets from the Welcome Center, you can head straight to the lift on Sunday!
SEATING
Seating may be limited - we encourage you to bring picnic blankets (no lawn chairs will be allowed on the chairlift).
ADULT BEVERAGES
Please be aware that, in accordance with the New Hampshire Liquor Commission rules & regulations, outside alcohol cannot be consumed at the summit. Given this rule is a stipulation of our liquor liscene, we will be strictly enforcing this policy. Coolers will not be allowed on the chairlift. You'll be able to purchase alcoholic beverages from the Schwendi Hutte. If you're planning on enjoying some adult beverages during Schwendi Fest, please remember to bring your government-issued I.D.

NH Run for the Fallen
NEW HAMPSHIRE’S RUN FOR THE FALLEN
WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH
The 2024 Run for the Fallen NH is Saturday, September 21st, in Waterville Valley. The opening ceremony will take place in the Field of Honor in Town Square. The 4-mile loop run/walk route will honor New Hampshire's Fallen Heroes. The following roads will be affected: Village Road, Valley Road, Boulder Path Road, West Branch Road, Tripoli Road.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a race. All are welcome to walk, run, stroll, meander or just hang out along the loop honoring New Hampshire's Fallen Heroes (4 miles is NOT required). There is no charge to participate, although Run for the Fallen NH, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, appreciates donations. This is NOT a race. We finish together, in gratitude.

The Rey Cultural Center offers beginner-friendly monthly Stargazing events. After dark, locals, visitors, and a visiting NH Astronomical volunteer meet to explore a variety of astronomical topics and have a look at what’s viewable from Waterville Valley. Topics depend on the visiting NH Astronomical volunteer and current sky events and range from celestial targets, carbon stars, current NASA missions, Deep Sky Objects, observing techniques, observatory construction and use, Dark Matter, Historical Astronomy and much more! In addition to Monthly Dark Sky Stargazing, keep an eye out for special programs on current astronomical events!

Sunday Morning Church Chair
Catch the Church Chair with us on Snow’s Mountain for a mountain-top non-denominational church service!
Guests will load the chair between 8:30am-8:50am and the service will begin once the last guest arrives at the summit (9am). Guests will then have the option to ride the lift down or hike down after the service.
The chairlift ride is complimentary for this church service.

Dark Sky Stargazing
The Rey Cultural Center offers beginner-friendly monthly Stargazing events. After dark, locals, visitors, and a visiting NH Astronomical volunteer meet to explore a variety of astronomical topics and have a look at what’s viewable from Waterville Valley. Topics depend on the visiting NH Astronomical volunteer and current sky events and range from celestial targets, carbon stars, current NASA missions, Deep Sky Objects, observing techniques, observatory construction and use, Dark Matter, Historical Astronomy and much more! In addition to Monthly Dark Sky Stargazing, keep an eye out for special programs on current astronomical events!

Animal Encounter Series: Animals In Winter
Join us in Town Square for the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center Animal Encounter Series! Live animal presentations will be shown by expert naturalists. Native wildlife ambassadors will inform and inspire children, adults, and families alike. Animal Encounter Events take place every Sunday (and select Mondays) this summer, beginning at 10am under the tent.

Fall Foliage 5K Footrace / 1 Mile Fun Run / 10 Mile Trail Race
Lace up your running shoes so you can dash under the brilliantly colored leaves for 1 mile or 5k on the road, or take a few extra moments to enjoy the scenery by tackling the off road 10 mile trail race. Preregistration recommended.

23rd Chili Challenge & 10th Annual Ralley in the Valley Car show
Waterville Valley restaurants compete in Town Square for the title of the best chili in the Valley! With your admission fee, you’ll get to sample of every restaurant’s chili and cast your vote to a chili ballot.
FEE: $7.50 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
Along side the chili will be the 22nd Annual Ralley in the Valley all vehicle show, presented by the East Coast Camaro Club. Awards, and 50/50 raffle. $15 donation; proceeds to benefit a charity. Registration at gate. Rain or shine.

NH Run for the Fallen
The 2022 Run for the Fallen NH is this Saturday, September 24th, in Waterville Valley. The opening ceremony will take place in the Field of Honor in Town Square. The 4-mile loop run/walk route will honor New Hampshire's Fallen Heroes. The following roads will be affected: Village Road, Valley Road, Boulder Path Road, West Branch Road, Tripoli Road.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a race. All are welcome to walk, run, stroll, meander or just hang out along the loop honoring New Hampshire's Fallen Heroes (4 miles is NOT required). There is no charge to participate, although Run for the Fallen NH, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, appreciates donations. This is NOT a race. We finish together, in gratitude.

While there will be an option for same-day registration, we are hoping to get everyone pre-registered online so that on Saturday runners and walkers will just have to check in, eliminating lines and wait times.

Historical Trolley Tours
Learn about the history of the Valley on our weekly trolley tours. Every Sunday tours will leave at 10am and 2pm from the Town Square trolley stop throughout the summer!
